In the Presence of our patron HRH, The Countess of Wessex GCVO, the Awareness Foundation is holding a major conference entitled “The Future of the Near East: The Role of Christians in Building Peace and Healing Communities”.
Since the beginning of the ‘Arab Spring’, Christians have been facing attacks and threats and this has resulted in mass displacement within the communities. This is the time that Middle Eastern Christians, especially in the Levant, must actively participate in the healing of the community in their region and have a better future. Everyone must endeavour together to ensure a better and more inclusive future for all in the Levant. This conference will take place in London in November to address this issue and to find ways that Christians may contribute to make a difference in their community.
The conference runs from 6th to 8th November 2018 at Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, London.
