Our 6th Annual Gala Dinner took place on Monday 13th November 2017 at Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington. We were very honoured to be joined by our Royal Patron, HRH The Countess of Wessex GCVO. We should like to thank everyone who came to support us. In addition to an excellent dinner, our supporters enjoyed music by Soumaya Hallak and an inspiring talk by The Revd Nadim Nassar, our Director. In addition to Her Royal Highness, our special guests included His Eminence The Metropolitan of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of The British Isles and Ireland and Lord Gordon of Strathblane CBE.
The event raised more than £15,000 for our work!
We should like to thank Fadi Yazbek, who photographed the Gala Dinner, and our staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make the evening a success. Special thanks to Mrs Carina Dingemans, our Master of Ceremonies for the whole evening.
Awareness Awards
This year, the Awareness Award recipients were Madeleine Davies and Bendu Cooper. Certificates of Appreciation were given to Mrs Soulaf Kanaan and Dr Douglas Model. All of the Awards and Certificates were presented by HRH The Countess of Wessex.
